Equipment Disclaimer @ William Tractor
This disclaimer highlights responsibilities that come with buying and operating professional equipment. It should be read together with the product listing, manufacturer documentation, warranty, and store policies.
Read before purchase and operation
Professional machinery can cause serious injury, death, or property damage when selected, transported, unloaded, installed, maintained, or operated incorrectly. Product pages are sales information and do not replace the manufacturer’s manual, jobsite assessment, professional training, or legal requirements.
Specifications and suitability
Specifications, capacities, dimensions, images, compatibility statements, and performance descriptions are based on information available when published and may change. The buyer must verify that the selected equipment, attachment, engine, certification, and configuration are suitable for the intended work and carrier or trailer.
Correct and qualified use
- Read and follow the complete operator and maintenance manuals.
- Use trained, qualified operators and required personal protective equipment.
- Inspect the machine before each use and keep guards, warning labels, and safety devices in place.
- Observe load, slope, lifting, towing, hydraulic, transport, and environmental limits.
- Stop using equipment that is damaged, leaking, unstable, or behaving unexpectedly.
Modifications and third-party products
Unauthorized alterations, bypassed safety systems, incompatible attachments, non-approved parts, or improper repair can create hazards and may void manufacturer or seller warranty coverage. Third-party brands, parts, engines, and accessories remain subject to their manufacturers’ documentation, warranty, and limitations.
Compliance and jobsite responsibility
The owner and operator are responsible for licensing, registration, emissions or safety compliance, underground-utility location, permits, workplace rules, insurance, transport securement, environmental restrictions, and all other laws applicable to the destination and use.
2-year factory warranty and limitation
William Tractor equipment is covered by a 2-year factory warranty. The written factory warranty controls the applicable coverage, exclusions, registration requirements, and remedies. Except where prohibited by law, William Tractor is not responsible for loss caused by misuse, improper selection, unauthorized modification, inadequate maintenance, unsafe unloading, operator error, third-party products, or use contrary to manuals and warnings.
Nothing on this page excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. If a product arrives damaged or incorrect, follow the Shipping and Return & Refund policies immediately.
