Shipping Policy @ William Tractor
This policy explains how William Tractor processes and delivers machinery, attachments, and related equipment. Product-specific written terms shown at checkout or in an order confirmation take priority where they differ.
Delivery coverage
William Tractor accepts online orders for delivery in the contiguous United States. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, United States territories, or destinations outside the United States can still be placed online; our team will review any special delivery requirements after checkout and contact you if a delivery adjustment is needed.
Place your order online and we will work with you afterward if the destination requires special handling. If we cannot fulfill the delivery, we will contact you and refund any affected payment as needed.
Orders and processing
After payment and order details are received, most orders require 1–3 business days for processing and carrier scheduling. We use the delivery and contact information supplied with the order to arrange the next step.
- Add the equipment you want to your cart and complete checkout online.
- After checkout, our team may confirm availability, access conditions, or the best delivery method.
- Processing and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.
Transit time
Delivery to most eligible destinations is estimated at 7–14 business days after processing. Weather, carrier capacity, remote locations, address access, and appointment availability may extend the timeline.
- The carrier may contact you to schedule an appointment.
- Freight orders may not provide conventional parcel-style tracking.
- A freight terminal or alternate delivery point may be required when direct delivery is not practical.
Delivery methods and charges
Machines and other oversized products usually move by insured freight carrier or dedicated truck. Smaller attachments and parts may ship through a parcel carrier. Standard shipping is free on orders above $2,000. Orders at or below $2,000 may show a shipping charge at checkout.
- Residential, limited-access, liftgate, redelivery, storage, or terminal services may require additional charges unless expressly included in writing.
- Delivery service does not automatically include unloading, installation, setup, or site preparation.
- Any product-specific written delivery terms take priority where they differ from this general policy.
Site access and unloading
The customer must provide a safe, legal, and accessible delivery location. Unless the order confirmation expressly includes unloading service, the customer is responsible for suitable unloading equipment, trained personnel, and a safe unloading area. After checkout, our team can help review access details and coordinate the next step.
- Our team may confirm gate width, overhead clearance, road weight limits, turning space, and ground conditions after the order is placed.
- Do not ask a driver to enter an unsafe or inaccessible location.
- If the original delivery plan is not practical, we will work with you on an alternate delivery point or other resolution.
Inspection and freight damage
Inspect the shipment upon arrival and before signing the delivery receipt. Record all visible shortage or damage on the carrier’s receipt, photograph the packaging and equipment, and keep all packaging and documents.
- Report visible or concealed freight damage to sales@william-tractor.com within 48 hours of delivery.
- Do not sign the receipt as clear if damage is visible.
- Do not operate materially damaged equipment until our team or the carrier provides instructions.
A clean delivery receipt can limit a carrier claim. Written notation and clear photos are essential.
Address changes and failed delivery
Review the delivery address and contact information before submitting the order. Address changes after carrier booking or dispatch are not guaranteed and may create rerouting, storage, redelivery, or return charges payable by the customer. The same applies when delivery fails because no authorized recipient, safe access, or agreed unloading arrangement is available.
Questions
For delivery requirements, timing, or an address-access review, email sales@william-tractor.com. You can also place your order online first; our team will review the delivery details afterward and contact you if anything needs to be adjusted.
